I act for both individuals and companies; from directors and managers to companies in high-risk sectors such as construction, waste and manufacturing. I also help sports coaches, clubs and National Governing Bodies with safeguarding matters and investigations.
Every day is different in this area of law. One day I might be on site supporting a client and gathering information, the next interviewing witnesses or attending court. My focus is on providing practical advice, defending prosecutions and ensuring my clients’ interests are protected.
Clients are often facing multiple pressures; dealing with the incident itself whilst managing commercial pressures and reputational issues which may arise as a result. I use my experience in this area to guide clients through the process and provide strategic advice. I aim to keep one step ahead, focusing on my client’s objectives for the situation and making sure that each decision made contributes to that end goal.
Outside of work, I love country music, travelling and trying new restaurants along the way.
