HCR Hewitsons Business Games 2023

Over 150 people gathered at the University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus on Thursday 22 June to compete in the 2023 HCR Hewitsons Business Games, hosted with Northamptonshire Sport.

The games saw over 20 teams compete in an evening of action-packed sports from volleyball, archery and bowls to less conventional activities like hobby horse show jumping, as part of a programme of initiatives aimed at promoting improvements in health and wellbeing in a fun way, for those working in local and regional businesses.

The HCR Hewitsons games are modelled on Northamptonshire Sport’s successful annual Business Games event but will be held in association with the University of Northampton, at their sports facilities on their Waterside Campus in the proposed new ‘Active Quarter’ of Northampton.
