Continuing government support schemes for business

6th January 2021

As we go into another lockdown, businesses are still able to access government support schemes, from bounce back loans to the Future Fund, as well as the furlough scheme which has supported many businesses during the last nine months.

Loan schemes including CBILS and CLBILS have been extended until 31 March; businesses can also apply for top-up loans under the Bounce Back Loan Scheme.

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) or furlough scheme has been extended until 30 April, with the government paying 80% of wages up to a set level.

But the extensions do not apply across the board – the Future Fund has been extended only to the end of January, and the Coronavirus Corporate Financing Facility (CCFF) ended on 31 December.

Our summary of the schemes can be found here and we can help you to access them by:

  • Making applications to the government support schemes on your behalf
