Sleeping out for Worcester charities

8th November 2021

Daniel De Saulles and Emma Delaney from our commercial and private client teams raised over £500 at the Big Worcester Sleep-Out, playing their part among volunteers from across the city to raise awareness and money.

They were amongst the 40 volunteers who gathered at Sixways Stadium to raise awareness of the complex issues surrounding homelessness in the county and raise valuable funds for Maggs Day Centre, St Paul’s Hostel, and Warriors Community Foundation.

Dan, who is also a trustee of St Paul’s Hostel, said: “The weather was kind but cold – the wind picked up just after midnight. Despite getting only 3.5 hours (max) of sleep, we saw through the night with enthusiasm, having smashed our fundraising target of £150!”

The total amount raised was around £11,500 and donations are still being accepted – to make your last-minute contributions, please visit the JustGiving page.
