Join Chariots of Fire 2024 to support Magpas Air Ambulance

Chariots of Fire, which is organised by the HCR Hewitsons Charity and RunThrough, recreates the running contest that took place in the Great Court at Trinity College, Cambridge, as made famous by the film ‘Chariots of Fire’.

Teams of six runners, from local businesses, the voluntary and college community each run the 1.7 mile course in a relay format. The unique and picturesque route starts and finishes at Queens’ Green and covers the city centre, King’s College and crosses the river Cam.

All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to Magpas Air Ambulance, the official charity for this year’s Chariots of Fire. Magpas Air Ambulance provides lifesaving hospital-level healthcare to accidents and critical situations across the region, operating 24/7. The charity aims to raise £100,000 to support the continuation of its vital services.
