International Women’s Day – Wye Valley & Hereford

The theme for this year’s annual celebration is #GiveToGain

Join us as we explore the real challenges women face at work - from gender bias and pay gaps to career progression, flexibility and workplace culture - and hear practical, actionable ideas for creating more inclusive, supportive organisations.

To explore this topic, we will be hosting a panel discussion with the following guest speakers:

• Ali Goodwin – Ali is Managing Director of Clear Storage. After 19 years practising as a solicitor specialising in commercial dispute resolution, Ali transitioned from private practice to help establish and lead the family’s storage and van-hire business. Clear Storage has grown to become one of the UK’s largest external self-storage operators and has received multiple national industry awards in recognition of its performance and customer focus.
• Stephanie Hallett – Stephanie is Head of Eagle HR. As a HR professional with a decade of experience, she supports a diverse range of firms and SMEs making sure they can make the progress they want, with the right people and all the right HR procedures in place.
• Guy Hollebon – Guy is an Employment and Immigration Legal Director at HCR Law. Guy works with both individuals and companies ranging from large, international firms such as British Airways to public sector organisations like Monmouthshire County Council. Seeing people grow, develop and fulfil their potential is what really drives him.
• Discussion hosts: Jenny Staples and Arpinder Dhillon – Jenny and Arpinder are both Corporate Partners at HCR Law. Jenny is Head of Hereford office and Arpinder is Head of Wye Valley office. Both play a key role in the leadership of the teams based within those offices and the wider firm, with a focus on equality, diversity and inclusion.

As well as hearing from our panel, there will also be a Q&A session and a networking breakfast.
