HCR Law’s Thames Valley Corporate team has advised Red Nucleus on its acquisition of Bridge Medical Consulting Limited. The deal was led by Partner Robert Rice, supported by Solicitor Suzie Palmer and specialist colleagues across the firm.

The acquisition enhances Red Nucleus’s ability to help biopharmaceutical companies demonstrate the clinical and economic value of highly specialised therapies in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Red Nucleus, headquartered in Yardley, Pennsylvania, is a global provider of advisory, scientific, market access and commercialisation services, as well as medical communications and learning and development solutions for the life sciences sector.

Commenting on the deal, Robert said: “This was our first transaction for Red Nucleus and we’re delighted with the feedback we’ve received. We appreciate that it’s never easy for a client to trust a key transaction to new lawyers, and we’re grateful to Red Nucleus for choosing us as their partner.

“This transaction involved UK and Indian entities, so it was not without its complexities. I’m looking forward to seeing the business develop as it integrates into Red Nucleus’s existing operations in India and, hopefully, to working with Seanna and her team again.”

Seanna Balfe, General Counsel of Red Nucleus, said: “It was great to work with Rob and his colleagues – both at HCR and with Vertices Partners in India. Our priority was successfully delivering this transaction on time, on budget and in a way that protected the interests of our business and investors, while maintaining the collaborative relationship our colleagues had established with Paul Singh and his team at Bridge. Rob and his team delivered on all these points for us.”
