HCR Law’s Agriculture and Estates team has welcomed Charlotte Nutting as Partner.

Charlotte’s connections to the region are deep rooted, having worked at law firms across the West Midlands, advising clients throughout the country. She has also previously served on the committee of the Shropshire Law Society, including a year as president, as well as dedicating time to both Women in Property and the Institute of Hospitality.

A specialist in commercial property matters in the Agriculture and Estates sector, Charlotte advises on a wide range of matters including freehold acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, secured property finance (focusing on agricultural property), acquiring land for development, and option and promotion agreements.

Her appointment to the Agriculture and Estates team marks continued growth for the specialist sector practice at HCR Law. In response to an evolving client landscape, Partner Lisa Millington was recently appointed Head of Private Client Services for the Agriculture and Estates team. This appointment reflects the firm’s specialist expertise in the sector and the increasing demand for tailored advice across the rural community.

On joining HCR Law, Charlotte commented: “Having worked in the region throughout my career, I’m really looking forward to joining HCR Law’s Agriculture and Estates team. The firm is well known for its work across the sector and is recognised as a leading practice. I’m excited to meet my new colleagues across England and Wales and begin supporting clients at a time of significant change and opportunity for the rural community.”

Matt Hayes, Partner in the HCR Law Agriculture and Estates team said: “We’re delighted that Charlotte is joining the team. Charlotte’s experience in the region and sector knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to deliver specialist legal advice to clients in the agricultural sector and rural communities we serve.”

Charlotte will be based in HCR’s Hereford office, advising clients across England and Wales.
