Our client, Unquoted Advisory Ltd, is a leading recruitment consultancy with offices in London and Amsterdam. They provide senior finance search and interim solutions to private equity backed businesses across the UK and the Netherlands. We were approached to provide specialist and strategic post-termination restrictive covenant advice, as well as tactical advice on complex restrictive covenant issues.
The client needed advice on both enforcement and defence of breaches of covenants and chose the firm due to our breadth and depth of experience in this area. Known for our tenacious energy and robust approach, we issued hard-hitting pre-action correspondence in respect of various contractual breaches including confidentiality and post-employment restrictions.
Having been appointed at an early stage, we were able to take the matter from forensic investigation and the subsequent issuing of robust pre-action correspondence, to bringing (or defending) injunctive relief and contractual breach civil proceedings.
