HCR’s Education team nominated for two awards at 2025 EducationInvestor Awards 

HCR Law’s nationally-recognised Education sector team have been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s EducationInvestor Awards – Legal Advisor of the Year – to Education Institutions and Legal Advisor of the Year – to Deal-making.  

The awards, held at the Hiltoln Park Lane, London on 17 June, recognise and celebrate the very best in the Education sector – from investment and funding to safeguarding and and SEND support.  

Krissy Scott, Head of Education, said: “I’m delighted that we’ve been shortlisted for these awards. This is testament to another strong year for the team, supporting schools, colleges and universities through significant legislative changes – helping them keep their doors open and safeguarding children’s education.” 

The Education team have enjoyed success at EdInvestor over several years. They were shortlisted in the same categories in 2023 and 2024 and emerged the winners in the deal-making category in 2022.   

These nominations come after the Education team hosted a sector update for independent school leaders at the Thames Lido at the end of January, with insightful talks and panel discussions from internal and external speakers
