Impact55 runner up: Biotryp Therapeutics

Impact55 runner up, Biotryp Therapeutics is tackling the issue of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The technology will save lives by preventing deaths to infections which have become resistant to treatment.

Biotryp is focusing on the treatment of urinary tract infections which affects five times as many women as men. This use will therefore create an impact both medically and in terms of gender equity.
