Merged firm moves into the centre of Cambridge

14th September 2021

HCR Hewitsons has just completed on a new base for its Cambridge team, drawing together staff from its Compass House and Shakespeare House offices into 50/60 Station Road. It is planned to move all staff to these offices within the next eight weeks. The new office will not only house the current 120 staff in the merged team but also allow room for growth.

Cambridge office head Inger Anson said: “I’m delighted with the new location – it’s right in the heart of things with great facilities for our team, has great neighbours and is opposite the train station.

“The extra space provides us with opportunities for growth and to share the success that we have achieved in other offices. It will be great to get everyone into one building and provide a range of services unparalleled by any other local firm.”

Harrison Clark Rickerbys and Hewitsons merged on 1 June, creating a network of 11 offices across the country, from Cardiff to Cambridge.

Harrison Clark Rickerbys has more than 780 partners and staff based at offices in Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Hereford, London, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Thames Valley, Worcester and the Wye Valley, providing a complete spectrum of legal services to both business and private clients regionally and nationwide.

The firm also has a number of highly successful teams specialising in individual sectors, including health and social care, education and charities, technology, agricultural and rural affairs, finance and financial services, defence, security and the forces, and construction.
