Royal Three Counties Show

19 June 2018

Cows, ducks, and some very dodgy dancing featured on our stand over the three days of the Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern.

The stand on Avenue F was packed with visitors each day, from children (and Robert Capper) hooking ducks and colouring in Connie the Cow (well done, Ian Seymour), to parents and grandparents keen to win some cider in exchange for telling us about their passion in life.

Matt Shepherd demonstrated some ‘flossing’ (it’s a dance, not dental hygiene), alongside a group of scouts, and our PTs and partners did an outstanding job of welcoming visitors throughout the show.

Several members of The Archers’ cast visited the stand, leaving some staff starstruck – in all, almost 50 members of staff from across the firm made the event a real success, encouraging people to take part in our activities and doing a marvellous job of promoting the firm and our passion for people to a wide audience.

As one of the sponsors of the CLA Big Breakfast on the first day (Friday), partners and guests heard CLA Chief Land Use Policy Adviser, Susan Twining, providing insight into the current thinking on future agriculture policy, the big issues facing land managers and future opportunities.
