Welcome to Carly Moore–Martin

28th February 2024

Carly has recently joined us from a boutique firm in the city and has specialisms in contentious insolvency, commercial litigation and director disqualification. Outside of work, Carly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing netball, going to the theatre and trying out new restaurants and bars in the city. We’ve shone the spotlight on her, and she’s told us how she’d spend an extra hour of the day if she had one, the film she can watch over and over again and the best piece of advice she’s ever been given.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

If you don’t have anything nice or constructive to say, don’t say anything at all!

What sport would you compete in if you were in the Olympics?

I’d probably have to go with the 100m because I think it is one of the most exciting events.  If you put a barking dog behind me, I may well even win a medal!

If you had 25 hours a day, how would you spend your extra hour?

On the phone to my sisters and other best friends, because there are never enough hours in the day to catch up with everyone!

What movie can you watch and rewatch over and over again?

I very rarely rewatch films but I loved ‘Elvis’ with Austin Butler, so let’s go with that!

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Oddly I can be both, but if I had to choose, probably more of a morning person now.

What song is your guilty pleasure?

‘Can’t help falling in love’ by Elvis…there may be a theme emerging here!

If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?

I think my inner child would hate me if I didn’t go with a Disney princess here… so probably Belle from ‘Beauty and the Beast’!
