

White-collar crime and financial regulatory specialist Ben Ticehurst has joined HCR Law as Partner joining the firm’s growing Insurance, Risk and Regulatory team.
A renowned legal specialist, Ben serves as Senior Vice-Chair of the International Bar Association’s (“IBA”) Business Crime Committee and Vice-Chair of the Private Prosecutor’s Association. His role at IBA will see him co-moderating the Corruption in Sports session at the 27th Annual Transnational Crime Conference in Santiago, Chile later this year.
An experienced business crime practitioner, Ben has played a key role in high-profile trials involving conspiracy to defraud, multi-million-pound tax credit and VAT fraud, global bribery investigations, and significant investigations within the energy and financial services sectors.
Ben has a strong track record in defending banking professionals in cases of insider dealing and complex fraud, including landmark prosecutions such as the Euribor benchmark manipulation and Cum-Ex cases.
With extensive expertise in government investigations, compliance, and cross-border matters, he is a trusted advisor in navigating complex legal and regulatory challenges.
