Partner

Why choose me

I help people plan for the future, supporting them with succession and tax planning so they have peace of mind about their personal affairs.

I work with high net worth individuals, families and trustees of family trusts, including those with farming and business interests. I understand that every family and financial situation is different and provide advice that reflects each client’s personal circumstances and long-term goals.

My work includes advising on wills, trust creation and administration, estate administration and powers of attorney. I work closely with clients and their other professional advisers to find practical solutions that work for them and their families.

As a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers, I bring both technical expertise and an approachable, supportive manner to my work, explaining complex issues in a clear and empathetic way.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling and experiencing new places, spending time outdoors on walks and staying active through pilates, yoga and swimming.

Questions my clients ask me

Sometimes a grant isn’t required. This depends on how assets are owned, the type of asset and its value. I can help you assess your specific situation and determine what is needed.

Start by searching the deceased’s home and paperwork. You can also check the National Will Register and contact local solicitors who may have prepared a will. If no will is found, the estate will be distributed according to the rules of intestacy.

There are several factors to consider, including tax implications and how the gift is structured. It’s important to take legal advice based on your personal circumstances to ensure this is done in the most effective way.
