As someone who has a strong interest in finance, particularly the fast paced nature of quick-turnaround finance deals, I enjoy both the complexity of finance and learning about new financial products and instruments.

I look to understand the transactions my clients are undertaking at a deeper level to allow me to make commercial decisions. I’m a personable solicitor with strong business and financial acumen and work hard to develop and maintain longstanding relationships with my clients. Nothing excites me more than new ideas for the growth of a company – and entrepreneurial ideas and raising finance is a huge part of this.

I’ve worked with a range of individuals and organisations, from corporate borrowers to banks, financial institutions, challenger banks and clearing banks. My legal specialisms include acquisition and leverage finance, and alternative lending.

Outside work, my passions include seeing family in Scotland and skiing in the Alps.
