Why choose me

I thrive on the buzz of completing a transaction, that’s why I chose to specialise in corporate mergers and acquisitions. Doing deals is exciting for all clients, whether I’m acting for buyers or sellers and corporates or individuals, but I find it particularly rewarding when working for owner-managed businesses – it’s a fantastic feeling to complete a lucrative sale of a business that has been an owner-manager’s life’s work.

I’m methodical, organised and an excellent project manager. Buying or selling, I will prepare you to transact, supporting you through each stage of the deal, step by step.

In addition to global law firms, more recently I’ve spent nearly a decade at a Big Four accountancy and consultancy practice, working hand-in-hand on multi-disciplinary projects with my corporate finance and tax consulting colleagues. My integrated experience has taught me to think outside of the box, and I have inside experience of how corporate financiers and other specialist consultants’ work.

I make sure to integrate myself within your entire deal team, working together to create the best possible outcome for you whilst providing technical, yet commercial advice, cutting through unnecessary legal jargon.

Working with everyone from owner-managed businesses to large global corporates, and on domestic and international transactions, I have particular experience within the industrials sector, capitalising on the Midlands’ manufacturing heartbeat. My specialisms include private M&A deals support, both buy and sell-side, corporate reorganisations and rationalisations and joint venture and shareholder agreements.

Outside of work I cherish family time with my husband and young son. I also enjoy cycling, swimming and muddy dog walks in the countryside.

Every transaction is different, however, I will provide you with an estimate of fees from the outset, together with a breakdown of anticipated workstreams. I will remain transparent throughout a transaction, with regular fee updates.
