About me

I help businesses to achieve their potential, whether through buying, selling or restructuring. I bring a wealth of experience to the table, and can spot potential problems before they arise. With a hands-on approach, I make sure my clients get what they want out of each deal.

Although I work with businesses from all sectors, I specialise in advising those in health and social care. I currently sit on the board of the West Midlands Care Association, who the Health and Social care team operate a legal helpline for. In addition to my work as a solicitor, I am also a qualified barrister and Notary Public.

Out of the office, I like to keep fit and spend as much time as possible outdoors, and I visit family in South Africa whenever I can.

Care home acquisition with expert help

Following the acquisition of their first care home in South Wales, a transaction supported by Joe Mulrenan, Louise Crook and Rebecca Leask, clients Mr and Mrs S said: “Thank you so, so much to you all and your team for completing this acquisition for us. Corporate expertise brings Customade and Polyframe together

Our corporate team, led by Rebecca Leask, acted for Customade Group Ltd on its sale to Polyframe Group Ltd. The deal created the largest trade fabricator of windows and doors for UK installers. Backed by further investment from Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP, the deal resulted in a group with revenues of more than £100m. Customade are a leading manufacturer of PVCu windows, doors and conservatory roof products, employing 320 staff, with a turnover of £35m. Managing Director John Lightowlers said: “This is the perfect partnership for two businesses with shared values and offers great opportunities. Having worked with Harrison Clark Rickerbys for many years, I knew that their attention to detail, speed and professionalism would be invaluable, and so it proved.”
