Although a lot has changed over the years as HCR has grown from its Worcester origins, to become a top 70 law firm with 11 offices across whole of the UK, the things that matter to us remain the same.
We’ve grown because we look after our clients by attracting and empowering the best possible staff. In truth, many of the things we do are the same as other leading firms, however our passion for our clients and trust and respect of each other sets us apart.

Trust your advisers – they’re the experts for a reason.
Understand the issues that might stop the transaction going through from the start, and review them throughout the deal to make sure they’re taken care of.
Don’t “mentally sell” the business – completion takes longer than you expect, so keep running the business as you would normally until the deal is done.
How can we make sure the transaction completes on time?
There are lots of things that can derail a transaction, so make sure you focus on the key issues rather than getting bogged down in the nitty-gritty, and keep talking to every party to push them along and keep the momentum going.
