International Women’s Day – Cheltenham

The theme for this year’s annual celebration is #GiveToGain.

To discuss this topic, we will be hosting a panel discussion and we will be welcoming the following guest speakers:

• Simone Hindmarch – Simone is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Commercial, the business transformation specialists set to exceed £100 million turnover. A former Commonwealth Games swimming gold medallist, Simone has channelled her determination and creativity into building one of the UK’s most forward-thinking, purpose-driven businesses. Passionate about creating positive impact, she founded the Commercial Foundation, a B Corp-accredited social enterprise supporting young adults facing barriers to work or education, with over 90% progressing into employment, education, or training.
• Julie Kent MBE – Julie is widely recognised across Gloucestershire for her voluntary fundraising, public speaking, musical performances, and her current role as the High Sheriff of Gloucestershire. In October 2020, she was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her outstanding volunteer work. She has been celebrated as one of the 50 Greatest Women in Gloucestershire, included in the Top 100 Women in the West, and in 2018 was named the Most Outstanding Woman in the Charitable Sector in the West.

As well as hearing from our inspirational speakers, there will also be a Q&A session and a networking breakfast.
