Aardvark Planning Law joins HCR Law

Specialist planning and environmental law firm, Aardvark Planning Law, has joined HCR Law’s national Planning, Highways and Environment team.

The firm is pleased to welcome Sebastian Charles and Jane Burgess, who join as Partners based in the Central England office in Northampton.

The move reflects continued growth for HCR and bolsters the team’s expertise at a key time for the built environment industry, with major revisions to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and implementation of the Planning and Infrastructure Act expected to drive housing delivery in 2026.

With a combined 50 years’ experience in the planning sector, Sebastian and Jane advise on all aspects of planning and environmental law, acting for landowners and developers, including quoted companies, private companies, funds, venture capital-backed enterprises and private individuals, as well as public sector clients.
