Employment lawyer Lee Gabbie has joined HCR Law as a Partner.

Based in the firm’s fast-growing international headquarters in London, Lee advises UK companies, individuals and overseas businesses with a UK presence on employment law matters. His practice comprises contentious, negotiation and advisory work.

His arrival at HCR Law coincides with the firm’s launch of its new Employment Rights Act Hub – a central resource to help employers navigate the government’s biggest overhaul of employment law in decades.

The HCR Law Hub sets out the changes, implementation roadmaps and practical steps all businesses should take now and as further measures are introduced.

Lee said: “While the changes will be introduced gradually over two years, businesses and individuals should start preparing themselves for the changes now so as not to get caught napping”.

“My expertise covers all aspects of employment law, from restructures and redundancies to dismissals, pay and bonus disputes, discrimination, whistleblowing, maternity and paternity leave, and flexible working.”

Lee speaks fluent French and says his Russian is fast improving. He is also an accredited mediator with CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution).

Rachel Roberts is joint head of HCR Law’s Employment and Immigration Team. She said: “Lee’s substantial experience in employment law is a huge asset to the firm, along with his impressive language skills.

“We are delighted to welcome him as a Partner in the London office as we grow our strong Employment and Immigration team further.”
