Finalists for Wales Dealmakers Awards

Our corporate lawyer team in Cardiff is celebrating being shortlisted for both Corporate Law Firm of the Year and Small Business Deal of the Year; they advised on the sale of CashCalc to FE fundinfo.

The team almost doubled in size between July 2020 and June 2021, prompted by the volume of transactions being handled by the team from South Wales and more widely across the principality, with a total deal value involving Welsh firms in that time of £37.2m.

Martyn Davies, who heads the team, said: “We’re a new and a growing team, but we have considerable experience, and it is that which has drawn clients to us. I’m delighted that we have been shortlisted; we look forward to the awards very much.”
