HCR advises client on action needed following data breach

When a client was the unfortunate victim of a hacker attack on their IT systems, our data protection specialists advised the client on how to manage the breach, providing step by step advice to guide them through the process.

This included advice on how to the manage the breach itself, how to communicate with the ICO and whether the data subjects involved needed to be notified.
