HCR Law’s HR consultancy, Eagle HR, has moved into our Employment, HR and Immigration team.

Eagle HR was first established in 2011 as a separate business wholly owned by HCR Law and operating alongside the firm.

Since then, we have grown significantly in employee numbers and office locations and the decision to bring the Eagle HR fully into the HCR Law fold was made following a service review.

The move, led by Claire Tait, HCR Partner and head of HR Consultancy, will enable clients to benefit more fully from a full wrap around service which will enable access to the firm’s wider commercial expertise.

She said: “As employers face ever more onerous employment challenges, we have adapted our services and support to better meet their needs and demands ensuring that we build a team of advisers who will support all of your people needs.”

“Combining practical and strategic HR knowledge with the firm’s established reputation in employment and immigration law gives our clients confidence in our breadth of legal expertise, which they can access all through a single point of contact within our team.”

Claire joined HCR Law in December last year. She is a specialist in HR strategic support and employment law, having built her career in the professional and public sectors, including working with a trade union law firm.

“Bringing Eagle HR fully under the umbrella of our Employment, HR and Immigration team will streamline our service and ensure that we provide more holistic, project-focused support. In addition to adhering to our high standards of confidentiality, clients are already benefiting from direct access to the firm’s wider expertise.

“Our services within the team include all aspects of HR and legal advice, from support for strategic HR projects and complex investigations to mediation and a flexible secondment support team. Our offer includes a HR performance academy which provides training for employees up to Board level, and executive coaching,” she added.

Alongside bringing Eagle HR into the wider team, HCR Law has also added to our team, with new appointments to be announced later this month.

Last month, HCR launched a dedicated Employment Rights Act Hub, to support employers in adapting to the on-going and wide-ranging changes the government has announced.
