Spotlight on… the Worcester Family Law Team

The Worcester Family Law Team specialise in every aspect of family law, from assisting clients in protecting their assets at the start of a relationship to helping them reach a resolution in the event their relationship comes to an end.

Where we can, our trained mediators and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) experts will try and avoid stressful and costly court proceedings. However, if the court needs to assist in making a determination, we can represent clients and offer support every step of the way.

The team is headed up by Partners Anita Hennessey and Laura Williams, who both have specialist fields.

A tireless negotiator, Anita is a trained Solicitor Advocate and has recently established our in-house Advocacy Hub. The hub is for both financial and children matters and provides clients with the benefit of continuity for each hearing.

Laura has strengthened the team’s offering, having recently joined as a trained mediator with a passion for ADR and the benefits this can bring. Laura has launched Unified in Separation offering a bespoke pathway to resolution, in situations where clients are keen to explore alternatives to the court process when attempting to resolve issues concerning arrangements for children or financial assets.

The Worcester Family Law team is further strengthened by Partner Nick Rodriguez who works as a trained collaborative lawyer; recently promoted Associate, Amy McGowan-Docherty; and Solicitor Lauren Powell-Bateson. The team is further supported by Chartered Legal Executive, Kim Allsopp and Paralegal Jenny Crook.
