The Legal 500 recognises ten months of continued growth at HCR Hewitsons in Central England

Nearly a year on from the opening of HCR Hewitsons’ new Central England office at its prestigious Waterside site in Northampton, the firm’s credentials as a leading law firm in the region have had a further boost in the form of top-tier rankings in the Legal 500 directory. The report, which was released last week, details the top lawyers and law firms from around the world.

Since opening the new office, the Central England team have grown in size, developing existing specialist teams – such as that of its pensions law team – while attracting new expertise in areas such as insurance and regulatory law. Further growth is expected in the coming months.

The firm was given five top-tier rankings in the East Midlands for Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolution, Agriculture and Estates, Charities and Not-For-Profit, and Personal Tax, Trust and Probate. Alongside this achievement, the Commercial Property and Employment teams were recommended, and the office also given the designation a ‘firm to watch’ for its Family Law capabilities

Four lawyers in the Central England team were identified as Leading Individuals in the directory – a designation given to ‘market leaders’ – in addition to a member of the prestigious Legal 500 Hall of Fame – an accolade reserved for leading lawyers who are considered at the very top of the profession.

Clients’ commendations were also featured in the directory, with testimonials praising the team’s strength along with their high quality responsive and proactive service. Clients commented that the team provided practical, clear and cost-effective advice while staying approachable and committed to the task in hand.
