New partner to lead litigation team in Wye Valley

Bringing top-level expertise to the expanding Wye Valley office of Harrison Clark Rickerbys inc ShawcrossHefin Archer-Williams has joined the firm to lead the office’s growing litigation team.

Hefin, whose experience has been with leading firms in Wales and the South West, specialises in contract and financial matters, including property litigation, Insolvency and professional negligence.

He has a particular interest in sports law, acting for sports men and women in contract negotiations, disputes with clubs, disciplinary hearings, selection and sponsorship matters and is regularly called upon by the BBC to offer expert opinion on legal matters relating to sports law.

His sporting interests go far beyond work – he has been the Chair of Badminton Wales and is the Chair of Disability Cricket Wales (as well as being Cricket Wales’ legal advisor on disability, selection and disciplinary matters) He has also been the Vice-Chair of Basketball Wales and officer for Basketball UK and a Director of Disability Sports Wales. Currently he is the legal advisor to Cardiff RFC and the Institute of Expert Witnesses.
