Team grows to help businesses in trouble

10th July 2018

Helping businesses in trouble, Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ growing restructuring and insolvency (R&I) team has welcomed two new members – partner Robin Koolhoven and associate Deanne Hamilton.

Robin, who has represented several international clients recently, including TOP Taste BV, specialises in corporate recovery and personal insolvency as well as complex commercial litigation matters, partnership disputes and shareholder disputes.

He acts for insolvency practitioners and accountants as well as for individual businesses – with a previous firm, he undertook the administrative receivership of Luton Town Football Club. Robin will be based in Cheltenham and will be targeting work from Cheltenham, Bristol and further south too.

Deanne, who specialises in all areas of R&I work and in particular helping company directors facing disqualification or insolvency, also advises on a range of dispute resolution and insolvency issues, including forfeitures, debt recovery and residential landlord and tenant proceedings. She will also be based in Cheltenham.

Sam Payne, head of restructuring and insolvency, said: “I’m delighted that Robin and Deanne have joined us – they each bring strengths to the team that will aid our continued growth. We know that if businesses take advice early enough, and follow it, they can often turn their fortunes around and continue to thrive. My team, across all our offices, is here to support that whenever we can.”

Harrison Clark Rickerbys has 470 staff and partners based at offices in Worcester, Cheltenham, Hereford, Birmingham, the Wye Valley, the Thames Valley, Cambridge and central London who provide a complete spectrum of legal services to both business and private clients, regionally and nationwide.  The firm also has a number of highly successful teams specialising in individual market sectors, including health and social care, education, advanced manufacturing, agricultural and rural affairs, defence, security and the forces, and construction.
