Hannah Parry

Why choose me

I am a commercial and agricultural property solicitor working within the Agriculture and Estates team. I specialise in commercial and agricultural property sales and purchases, secured lending, commercial leases, and agricultural tenancies. I work with a diverse range of clients from individual landowners to lenders and rural enterprises. As a bilingual solicitor, I advise clients in both English and Welsh, ensuring clear and accessible communication for clients.

Having grown up within the rural community and now living on a working dairy farm, I have a genuine understanding of how agricultural businesses operate and appreciate the pressures those working in the sector face. This experience allows me to tailor my advice to give not only robust legal advice, but also offer practical guidance to support my clients’ needs.

Outside of work, I am a keen musician and play the saxophone in two local bands. I am also an enthusiastic rugby supporter and can often be found at my local club on weekends cheering on friends and family.

Questions my clients ask me

Timing is often critical for farmers and rural businesses, especially when transactions link to cropping, grazing, or compliance windows. I always take time at the outset to understand my clients’ circumstances and whether they have any deadlines that they are working towards. How long the work will take depends on the nature and complexity of the matter, as well as how quickly third parties respond. If the timetable is realistic, I will always work proactively to meet any desired deadlines, without compromising a high standard of service and the essential legal steps needed to protect your position.

I know that clarity on costs is just as important as clarity on timescales. Every transaction is different, and the fee will depend on the scope, complexity and any unforeseen issues that may arise along the way. I will always provide a clear estimate at the start, explain what it covers, and keep you updated if anything changes. My aim is to give you confidence in the value of the work and certainty about what to expect.
