HCR Law Strengthens Family Law Team with New Partner Beverley Morris

 HCR Law’s Family Law team – one of the largest and most experienced in the country – has started the new year by welcoming highly regarded family lawyer Beverley Morris as a Partner and Head of Family, London.

Described as “a true leader and expert in her field,” Beverley has earned a Band 1 ranking in the 2025 Chambers and Partners. She brings expertise in addressing the financial consequences of relationship breakdowns.

A member of the Pension Advisory Group, Beverley contributed to the second edition of ‘A Guide to the Treatment of Pensions on Divorce’ in 2024. This publication, supported by the Family Justice Council and The University of Cambridge, is an essential resource for legal professionals navigating complex pension issues in divorce proceedings.

Beverley’s career includes involvement in some of the most notable financial remedy cases. These include the landmark Supreme Court decision in Mills v Mills, which played a role in shaping the law on spousal maintenance, and the long-running Moses Taiga v Taiga litigation, underscoring her expertise in handling complex and high-profile financial disputes.

Beverley’s diverse client base includes entrepreneurs, landowners, high-net-worth individuals, and sports professionals. She is dedicated to achieving amicable resolutions for her clients, blending her legal acumen with a compassionate approach.

Beyond her practice, Beverley is deeply committed to advancing family law and supporting the professional development of fellow practitioners. As a longstanding member of the Resolution West Midlands Committee, she has advocated for constructive approaches to family law issues, with the aim of making a real difference in both the lives of her clients and the evolution of family law.
