James becomes society’s youngest President

18 June 2019

James Osborne has become Worcestershire Law Society’s youngest President, at the age of 30, after being a member for six years.

Family lawyer James, a senior associate with Harrison Clark Rickerbys, who was previously vice chair and has chaired the society’s junior lawyers’ division, takes on the role from Pat Beeching.

He is well-known in Worcester as one of the stars of the 2016 Strictly Worcestershire charity dance contest, a keen participant in the Worcestershire Street Sixes cricket games in the city centre and as a director and founding member of the local networking group Worcestershire Advance.

James said: “It is an honour to take up this prestigious role and I look forward very much to being able to continue Pat’s excellent work and that of her predecessors. The legal profession as a whole is facing challenging times and I’m keen to lead the Worcestershire Law Society through those over the next 12 months.”
