What will happen?
To start, we take the time to get to know you and understand the nature of your problem. From here, we’ll work out a tailored plan to help guide you through the process with as little additional stress as we can.
How long will it take?
On average, most relationship issues are resolved within six months. If fully contested court proceedings are necessary, it will take between 6 and 12 months. It will always vary depending on the nature of each case, but we’ll give you a realistic timeframe as soon as possible.
How much will it cost?
When we start working with you, we’ll give you a clear cost estimate from the outset, and keep you updated throughout your case. We offer a fixed fee service for divorces, but the cost for other cases may vary depending on their complexities. If cash flow is a problem, we can connect you to a number of leading litigation funders.
Our highly trained team of specialist family lawyers, cover every aspect of family law, and will take the time to understand your needs and explain what it all means. Every day, we handle complex cases that require a careful, experienced hand, and are committed to finding a fair and reasonable outcome.
Where we can, we try and avoid stressful and costly court proceedings – many members of our team are trained mediators and experts at alternative dispute resolution. However, if it comes down to court, we’ll represent you and support you every step of the way.
We have three lawyers able to represent you in any court, without the need for a barrister.
Chambers: “It is an extremely positive experience working with Harrison Clark Rickerbys. The team is extremely well-organised, they are good at managing client expectation and their cases are well-prepared.”
We help people from all walks of life, from housewives and teachers to company directors and footballers, and have close ties to the police, armed services and NHS. We’re experienced in cases with complex financial arrangements and have acted on a number of high-profile cases.
We know that relationship issues are often urgent, and if you’re unlucky enough to have a relationship issue, you need firm, decisive action. That’s why we’re available day and night by phone for emergencies, and will do everything we can to reach a resolution that’s fair and ensures your best interests are protected.
