Transmissions manufacturer finds new investment in deal brokered by Corporate Partner

Xtrac, the manufacturer of high-performance transmissions for professional motorsport, has found new investment from private equity firm MiddleGround Capital, following a deal advised on by Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ Thames Valley Corporate team.

The Thatcham-based company is renowned in the world of motorsport for supplying transmission technology for F1, rally, and touring cars. Robert Rice, Partner in the Thames Valley Corporate team, acted for the management team at Xtrac, with previous investors Inflexion selling their investment to US and European MiddleGround Capital.

It is hoped the new investment will allow Xtrac to continue to build on their success while benefitting from MiddleGround’s expertise in the next stage of their expansion.
