Celebrating three county awards for legal stars

1st April 2019

Scooping three awards in one evening gave talented staff at Harrison Clark Rickerbys cause to celebrate at Worcestershire Law Society’s annual awards dinner – the firm won Junior Solicitor of the Year, Paralegal of the Year and the award for best use of technology and innovation.

Mandip Riar won the Junior Solicitor title – she works in the firm’s corporate team in Worcester, as does fellow winner Bruna Ronzani, who was chosen as Paralegal of the Year. Geoff White, the firm’s Marketing Operations manager, who masterminded its new website last year, won the award for best use of technology and innovation.

The Society makes eight awards each year as well as giving a lifetime achievement award – this year’s dinner was held at Grafton Manor near Bromsgrove.

Rod Thomas, the firm’s managing partner and head of the corporate team in Worcester, said: “These awards recognise the breadth of talent and ability we have in the firm. Both Mandip and Bruna are outstanding members of the corporate team and I think it is especially encouraging to see young talent rewarded in this way.

“I am also pleased that our forward-looking approach to technology has been acknowledged; Geoff led this major project and its success is already clear. I congratulate all the winners – it was a great evening and they thoroughly deserve their awards.”
