New litigation expert boosts disputed wills and estates team

Developing Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ contentious probate service in response to client demand, partner Beth King-Smith joins the firm as head of disputed wills, trusts and estates.

Beth will work from the firm’s Worcester and Birmingham offices – she said: “Contentious probate, where wills, inheritances and probate are disputed, is a growing area, and one which presents people with very complex and upsetting challenges, often at a time when they grieving for a loved one.

“I am very much looking forward to working with the dispute resolution team here – they have an excellent reputation for resolving issues out of court but being absolutely ready to fight their client’s corner in every way, which fits very well with my own approach.”

Beth has extensive experience of working with those who have been cut out of wills, as well as with beneficiaries, heirs, executors, trustees and charities, as well as the families of those whose wills are being challenged.
