About me

As a chartered quantity surveyor and a non-solicitor partner in the construction and engineering team, I can help you with both legal and commercial advice. I’m also a chartered construction manager, chartered arbitrator and panel adjudicator with professional qualifications in the areas of construction and alternative dispute resolution.

My clients include main contractors, sub-contractors, architects, developers and private individuals. I use the knowledge and experience I’ve gained to teach construction law at a number of Universities and help clients avoid and resolve issues and disputes. I can see circumstances from several different viewpoints and will work with a legal and commercial focus to meet the needs of my client and the circumstances. I often work out of office hours.

I’m reliable and analytical, with a real passion for the construction industry in which I had a career before joining a firm of solicitors. I previously ran my own chartered quantity surveying and project management company, so I know the industry from the inside out. I like supporting others and get a real sense of satisfaction helping clients to avoid or resolve difficult situations.

Outside of work, I love being with my family. I also enjoy art and sculpture, poetry, classical music and watching rugby, especially if it’s England at Twickenham.
