Real estate team acted on Property Deal of the Year

Congratulations to our Real Estate team in Cheltenham, who supported the freehold acquisition of former Debenhams Store in Gloucester, winner of the Property Deal of the Year in the South West Insider Property Awards 2021.The store was bought by the University of Gloucestershire as part of their city centre campus.

Mark Carter, who led on the project, said: “We are delighted that such an important development has been recognised for its significance for the local community; we have worked with the university for some time and this will be an excellent step forward for them and play an important part in regenerating the centre of Gloucester.”

The judges chose this particular deal due to the positive impact it will have on the centre of the city, which is undergoing some major regeneration, and the wider county.
