In-House Lawyer Services

If you are an in-house lawyer we want to assist you with your challenging role.

Support

We work with in-house lawyers and understand the pressures and challenges you face. We appreciate the variety of demands that are placed on you by your organisation, and that the role of an in-house lawyer can be a lonely one. We have created our In-House Lawyer Services as a resource tailored to the specific needs of in-house practitioners, and offer a range of services from company administration, intellectual property audits, trademark registration, contract reviews, employment and HR support, international services, risk management, secondment to virtual trainees.

Our objective is to listen to you and to understand your business: you tell us what your specific needs are and we will provide the support that you need. You will have a dedicated point of contact, or team, to help you with the issues that affect your business who will be available to assist you around the clock.

Certainty

Costs management and financial certainty are key issues for in-house legal teams and businesses.  We understand that legal budgets are limited and must be carefully managed. We are able to offer the expertise of city trained lawyers without the same price tag.  We will provide certainty on the costs that you will incur and, where appropriate, offer a flexible approach to costs and/or fixed fees so that we fit with your budget.

Added Value

One of our key objectives is to provide added value for our clients.

This includes:

Networking and Training Events

Our In-House Lawyer Services include a programme of free, informal networking and practical training conferences. The conferences are held twice a year at venues in Birmingham and Cheltenham. The networking sessions give the in-house practitioners the opportunity to share ideas and discuss issues that affect their niche community.

The training conferences are delivered by experienced lawyers and the training provided is accredited by The Law Society for CPD credits.

To ensure the topics covered at future events are tailored to your needs, those who attend an event are invited to confirm their preferences and the level of complexity for topics to be covered at the next event.

If you would like to attend any of the networking and training events please see our events section for how to register.

Newsletters & Alerts

Our quarterly In-House Lawyer newsletter addresses the issues that are relevant to in-house practitioners.  Those who register with us will also receive e-alerts on key issues as and when they arise.

Please visit our newsletters section to sign up for any of our information newsletters.

We are always interested in discussing ways to assist you and your business.
