Award winning law firm, HCR Hewitsons, has become the Club’s Official Legal Partner after signing a brand-new agreement with Northampton Saints.
HCR Hewitsons has served the local community for 190 years and will provide the Club with expert legal advice and help Saints deliver their exciting commercial and community initiatives.
The firm’s Central England office – a regional legal hub, is based at Lancaster House next to the River Nene, alongside the University of Northampton’s Waterside campus at the heart of a thriving, innovative community.
“The road to growing a modern professional sports club can often be a labyrinth,” said Ulundi Makhanya, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Saints.
“Potential risks to the Club’s success can come from several different directions at any one time, but with HCR Hewitsons’ wealth of expertise, Saints can navigate any issues knowing we are being advised by the best in the business.
“Both HCR Hewitsons and Northampton Saints share a number of values with each other, so we look forward to working with them for the foreseeable future.”
Dominic Hopkins, who shares the leadership of the Central England office with Partner, Charlotte Thornton-Smith, said: “People are our passion and supporting our local communities is what’s most important to us. We know Northampton Saints well and they are right in the heart of the community in which we operate, so to be able to support this great club as Official Legal Partner is a real privilege. We are absolutely delighted.”
