International lawyer wins top award

Ajit Mishra, partner in the international team and India specialist, has been named Best M&A Lawyer of the Year at a prestigious legal summit in India.

The BW Legal World summit, with leading speakers from across the Indian legal system, culminated in awards – Ajit faced a judging panel which included three former Supreme Court of India judges and three senior advocates.

He said: “This is a real honour, especially with such a distinguished panel of judges. I was also delighted to be asked to take part in the summit itself, in a panel discussion on the ease of doing business in India.”
