HCR Law’s Technology & Innovation team supports businesses at every stage of growth, from start-ups and scale-ups to established technology companies, investors and multinational organisations. Drawing on expertise across technology, intellectual property, commercial contracts and regulatory matters, the team helps clients innovate, safeguard their assets and achieve sustainable growth in fast-moving markets.
The team is led by Inger Anson, who specialises in helping early-stage technology businesses secure investment from angel investors and venture capital firms. Joining Inger from 1 October 2026 are Murium Rehman and James Hopgood, who work with innovative businesses on fundraising and growth strategies, with James also taking the lead on Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme, Enterprise Investment Scheme and Venture Capital Trust-related matters.
The team provides practical, corporate and commercially focused advice, helping clients make informed decisions and move forward. Whether securing investment, bringing new technologies to market or navigating complex regulatory requirements, the team takes the time to understand each client’s goals and deliver solutions tailored to their business.
