Cambridge merger draws expertise together to meet client demand

30 September 2019

Harrison Clark Rickerbys and Cambridge law firm Houlden Sweeney are merging to meet client demand for a wider range of expertise.

Samantha Houlden and Roslyn Sweeney are joining the HCR team at their Compass House offices at Histon from today (Monday), adding further real estate expertise to the corporate and dispute resolution skills already on offer.

New partner Natalie Minott also joins the firm – an expert in property dispute resolution, she works across all types of commercial, residential, and agricultural real estate.

Head of office Inger Anson said: “Finding the right fit is key and we are delighted to join forces with Samantha and Roslyn, and also to be welcoming Natalie Minott, whose presence over the years in the Cambridge market place will boost HCR’s presence in and demonstrate the firm’s commitment to the area.

Samantha Houlden said: “Our merger unites two firms who have a very similar ethos and who share a client-focused approach to providing excellent quality legal advice to individuals and businesses.

“The combined firm will strengthen and enhance the legal services we are able to provide to our clients, without compromising our values. We will benefit from a greater depth of resources, expertise in other legal disciplines and the ability to serve a greatly enhanced geographical area.”
