The Thames Valley Corporate team have had a bumper year for nominations at this year’s Thames Valley Deal Awards – Law Firm of the Year, Lawyer of the Year, Large Deal of the Year, Mid-Range Deal of the Year and Small Deal of the Year.
The team were involved in six deals shortlisted in the Deal of the Year categories: the acquisition of Apollo Motor Group by Steer Automotive Group, the sale of Xtrac by Inflexion to MiddleGround Capital, the NVM Private Equity backed MBO of Leading Resolutions, Vuealta Applications Division’s partial disposal to Anaplan, the investment by Maven Capital into Manufacture 2030 and the sale of Matrix Electronics to Delta Impact.
Head of Corporate, Thames Valley, Rachel Turner and Corporate Partner Robert Rice are both nominated as finalists for Lawyer of The Year, while the Thames Valley Corporate team are also nominated for the prestigious Law Firm of the Year award.
The black-tie event will be held on Thursday 23 November at the Reading FC stadium, with multi-million-pound deals and the people that make them happen being celebrated.
Rachel Turner said: “To have so many nominations at the same awards ceremony is fantastic – the Thames Valley Corporate team have had a great year so far already, and I’m thrilled to be nominated alongside Rob for Lawyer of the Year. Alongside this, a nomination for Law Firm of the Year reflects the work the team have been doing on behalf of clients in the region.”
Other categories at the ceremony include Bank of the Year, Young Dealmaker of the Year, Due Diligence Team of the Year and Non-Bank Lender of the Year.
