Services for Individuals

Our clients tell us that we offer speedy, common sense, no nonsense support that is relevant to their needs. They tell us we are easy to work with, they feel comfortable in speaking with us, and that we offer an excellent, value for money service.

The advice and support you need will vary depending on the stage of your career. For example, you may be considering leaving the military, or currently serving overseas.

If you are about to leave service, and want to establish your own business, we can help by:

  • incorporating a new limited company
  • assisting with drafting your terms of trading
  • advising on any commercial contracts or documentation
  • shareholders’ agreements and shareholder documentation
  • linking you to other professional advisers (e.g. accountants, tax advisers, insurance brokers etc).

Or if you are serving overseas and want to ensure that your personal matters are efficiently looked after, we can help with:

  • purchasing and selling property
  • making a will
  • lasting powers of attorney (including temporary powers of attorney to cover the duration of your overseas posting)
  • assisting following a relationship breakdown
  • issues surrounding children and/or family
  • inheritance tax planning.

We offer a 12% discount to our standard hourly rates in respect of family law, wills and inheritance tax planning advice.

Why are we different?

We understand that your profession requires flexibility, and therefore, so does your legal advice. With visits to local barracks, and remote consultations via a range of electronic means, we aim to offer a friendly, localised service. We do not ‘clock-watch’ and will always be upfront regarding our fees.

How can we help?

Contact any member of the defence and security team for a friendly chat, or telephone 0844 241 6102 or email [email protected] if you are unsure who you need to speak to. We are all here to help!
