HCR Hewitsons bolsters Real Estate team in Cambridge with new hires

HCR Hewitsons has bolstered its Real Estate team in Cambridge with the appointment of two new lawyers. Helen Mutucumarana joins the team today (20 February) as a Partner and is described by peers as ‘an exceptional property lawyer’. Becky Woodcock will join the firm on 3 April 2023 and is also noted for her expertise in commercial real estate matters and her approach to client care.

Helen specialises in complex landlord and tenant matters and advises world-leading technology business occupiers – with a keen interest in the emerging property tech market. Becky is an experienced commercial real estate lawyer acting on a diverse range of matters from lettings, financing, restructuring, investing and development. Helen and Becky’s client portfolio includes occupiers, landlords, charities, tech and life-science organisations, entrepreneurs, and business owners.

Helen and Becky’s appointment follows shortly after new Regulatory Partner Kathryn Gilbertson joined HCR Hewitsons in Cambridge in August last year, and also Family Law Partner, Roopa Ahluwalia who joined in April 2022.
