Top 50 UK law firm HCR Law has secured a new office in Norwich, strengthening its position in the East Anglia legal market in response to growing client demand.

The Norwich office has relocated to 3 St James Court, St James Place, a principal office development on the city’s inner ring road and home to a mix of major professional firms.

The move from its previous workspace on Crown Road reflects the rapid growth of the Norwich team since launching in 2025 and provides a long-term base to support continued expansion.

Led by Frank Brumby, Head of Norwich Office, the team is rapidly emerging as a key player in the East Anglia legal market, attracting high-calibre talent and building a full-service offering for businesses and individuals.

Since opening, the Norwich office has grown to seven Partners, including Amy Walpole, Nathan Muskett, Cara Keen and Robert Pyke, strengthening key practice areas including Family, Corporate and Commercial Property and supporting a growing client base across the region.

Most recently, the office welcomed social housing development specialist Melissa Starkings as Partner in the Healthcare team in February 2026, and Kirsteen Durrant as Partner in the Dispute Resolution team in May 2026. Their appointments further enhance the firm’s ability to deliver specialist advice locally and reinforce its growing influence in the regional market.

Frank Brumby said: “Our move into a permanent Norwich office is a natural next step in our growth journey. Since launching last year, we’ve built a strong team and a growing client base, and this investment gives us the space and infrastructure to continue that momentum.

“This is a fantastic location for us. St James Court places us at the heart of Norwich’s professional community, with excellent access for clients and a high-quality environment for our team to collaborate and grow.

“We’re seeing sustained demand from businesses and individuals across East Anglia who value high-quality, commercially focused legal advice delivered locally. This new office enables us to meet that demand while continuing to attract talented lawyers who want to be part of a fast-growing and ambitious team.”

The investment underlines HCR’s long-term commitment to Norwich and the wider East Anglia market as it continues to build a strong regional presence.
