Spotlight on… Emily Dalton

Emily Dalton is a solicitor in our family law team. In this interview, we shine the spotlight on her as she tells us about her most memorable legal experience, the legal advice she provides to her clients and that mock trial at secondary school that gave her the bug for law.

What first attracted you to a career in law?

I took part in a mock trial at secondary school, where I took on the role of a magistrate and witness.

What type of legal advice do you provide and to what sort of clients?

I advise a range of clients across all aspects of family law. This includes issues relating to divorce, finances and children matters.

What is your most memorable legal experience and why?

After seven years of study and training, qualifying into the fantastic Cheltenham Family team in March 2022.

What is your number one top tip for clients?

Always be honest.
