Corporate team shortlisted for Northern Ireland Dealmakers Award 2024

Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ Corporate team have been shortlisted for the Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year award at this year’s Insider Northern Ireland Dealmakers Awards.

The nomination comes hot on the heels of the firm’s ranking as second across the UK for M&A deals in Experian Market IQ’s full year report.

Held at the Europa Hotel, Belfast on 7 March, the awards ceremony will recognise the best-performing professional advisory firms and the people who work in them. Award categories vary from Transaction Services Team of the Year – celebrating entire firm’s achievements – and Dealmaker of the Year – which focuses on individuals, to Deal of the Year and Emerging Dealmaker of the Year.

The deal which HCR’s Corporate team acted on – leading to their nomination for the Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year – was the acquisition in GoReport by ScaleUp Capital. The Belfast-based provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to the property sector secured the investment from the scale-up experts last year, which has provided them with opportunities for expansion.
